Statement:
In our minds, we have private places for our vivid feelings, memories and imaginations. My ‘Reflection’ series derived from the nature of the environment such as trees, water, sky, and clouds. The images are reflections of my personal vision using colours, textures, symbols, dreams and fantasies to represent the ideal nature scene. Exploring the boundaries between figuration and abstraction, memories and dreams, the paintings comment on the relationship between reality and imagination, the ‘inside’ world of feelings and ideals and ‘outside‘ world of the environment.
