Josie Jiang

Josie was born in Shanghai and grew up in Beijing during the Cultural Revolution. She studied at the Beijing College of Art and exhibited her works regularly in China including a show at the National Gallery of China. For 13 years she taught art in Beijing before becoming a photographer covering the war in Vietnam.

In 1992 she visited Britain and fell in love with western art. She then decided to move permanently to London in 1996 and work freelance as an artist. Her works have been selected for various UK exhibitions including the Affordable Art Fair and the 20/21 British Art Fair.
